Letter to Members
We appreciate your support as we continue to offer lower premiums and better benefits to our clients. We truly believe that HSA-based plans are a better way to help employees pay for their healthcare today while building health savings for the future.
As you may already know, we’re motivated to change healthcare. After careful consideration, we decided to change our name to match our motivation. As of May 7, 2019, we legally changed our name to MotivHealth Insurance Company. For simplicity, we will go by MotivHealth.
What does this mean for you?
This is a name change only. All identification, tax-id, group, and member numbers will remain the same.
Please note the following:
Member ID cards: All members will be sent a new insurance ID card. Your member and group ID numbers will not change, however, and you can continue to use your old ID card until the new one arrives. You should receive your new card by June 15. In the meantime, you can find your digital ID card on our mobile app or your member portal.
HSA debit cards: Member HSA debit cards will remain active until they expire, at which point we will send new MotivHealth debit cards. If members would like a MotivHealth debit card sooner, they can request one at their convenience from us or from Health Equity directly (866-346-5800).
Member login: Effective June 5, members can log in to the portal at member.motivhealth.com using their existing username and password. The old member portal (member.hsahealthplan.com) will simply redirect to the new.
Employer login: Effective June 5, employers can log in to the new portal at employer.motivhealth.com using their existing username and password. The old employer portal (employer.hsahealthplan.com) will redirect to the new.
We appreciate the trust you have placed in us as your health insurance company. Our new name is just another step as we continue to be motivated to change healthcare.
Please note that our address has changed to suite 300 (formerly suite 550), but our mailing PO Box has remained the same. If you have any questions, please contact your account manager.
